Joining together in the great midwest, four great musician studying bands like Zeppelin,Rush,Dio,Black Sabbath,and Metallica,created their own "Blackout Sound". The band features Mike Roberts-Vocals,Alan Fleenor-Lead Guitar,Paul Compton-Drums,and Doug(Sluggo)Ward-Bass.The band recorded a five song Ep.Promoting there new realese on their own Timestone Records, the band performed around the Kansas City area performing in such places as The Uptown Theater,Parody Hall and The Wid Side! Wanting to be closer to the music business Blackout moved to L.A. Joining Markovic Management in L.A,the band performed in the Los Angeles, Holllywood area playing clubs including Gazzaries,The Troubadour,Country Club,and The Whiskey A Go Go. While in L.A. the band wrote new songs for a new album. Soon the band moved back to the KC area and recorded "Forever And A Day "!While recording the album the band continued playing opening for the band" Kansas" in Saint Joseph,Mo. The band decided to add a few new tracks and remixed the recording with a great engineer ,Ken Paulakovich ,they had met while living in L.A.The new album has a hard driving sound that makes you want to rock hard!
