Reka's new song "U on U" starts off by telling how she was a good women to her man, but he kept playing games and cheating. The song then flips going into the chorus and tells how she had enough and now she's flipping the script on him, but doing it BETTER. This is the New Female Anthem for Summer 2016.

Bio: Erika "Reka" Griggs was born in Euclid, Ohio October 11th 1991. Music played a part in her life at the tender age of 5 when her grandmother let her watch Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It." The funky dance moves and catchy tunes had her hooked. Reka faced alot of discouragement from a young age. Starting with her music teacher in kindergarten who told her she couldnt sing and that her voice was horrible, to the 6th grade bullies who made a haters club against her because of her having crowds of kids who used to crowd around her just to hear her sing. But none of these things discouraged Reka and she kept going. She started with Cleveland's program "Showagon" which performed all around the city at different festivals and events. By 5th grade she was accepted into "The Singing Angels", a professional children's choir where they put her straight into the performing chorus instead of the training chorus where they usually put children. They performed all over the country, and often appeared on the news, at colleges, and even for the professional Nutcracker Ballet. Unfortunaltely, at the age of 11 was when Reka's personal problems began to arise at home from verbal and physical abuse brought on by her stepfather, a mother who didnt believe her and her biological father who was absent in her life due to a prison sentence for conspiracy to murder. She started running away from ages 11 to 16, where she got exposed to life in the streets. Her mother often sent her to jail facilities like YDC, where she spent her time perfecting her songwriting, and even writing short novels to escape reality. She started recording at age 15 where she made her 1st popular song "Lust Thang" that she wrote about a boy she had a crush on while locked up. At age 17 she recorded her smash hit "Sideline Girl" that had the whole city buzzing and over 1,000,000.00 views on Youtube. The indy fame she was receiving was too much for the young singer due to her being a single mother who had alot of growing up to do. She took a break for a while to find stability and change in her life, and now she's back and better than ever! Her new single "U On U" was inspired by her belief in feminism which was impacted on her from her idol Beyonce. She believes in equal rights between men and women and that men should treat women the way they would want to be treated or else suffer the consequences. Reka is strongly opinionated and stands her ground, which was something she learned to be due to her tough life. You can feel her pain, her struggles and her growth through her music, this is why so many fans can relate to her. She admits to screwing up, being lost, finding love and losing love, betrayal, family problems, but also how she dealt with each of these issues and how she found the strength to finally be free. Reka's new single "U On U" is only the beginning of what she has to offer, and there is much more to come. Be on the lookout and dont sleep on her, because she WILL be a force to reckon with!!
