Tejano star David Farias, whose career has taken him from accordion-playing child prodigy in La Tropa F with his brothers to Los Hermanos Farias with his brothers John and Joe to winning a Grammy Award with Los TexManiacs and his spiritual brother, Max Baca, is on his own with a new band.

“Right now, it’s just David Farias,” said Farias.

“I don’t have any more brothers to play with. It’s just me by myself,” Farias said with a chuckle. “I wouldn’t say it’s scary, I would say it’s kind of weird, you know. Thirty-six years you’re together with your brothers in a band, and now you’re doing everything on your own.”

In March of 2015, Farias accepted a recording contract with VMB Music Group. With his first single of this album debuting in May of 2015, "Cada Beso Que Me Das", Farias has shown the poise to continue carrying his legacy as a solo artist.
