For this collection we have recorded several songs by Scotland’s beloved poet, Robert Burns. We have also included some of our favorite Scottish pieces, as well as the Irish ballad, “Donal Og”, which is embraced by both Ireland and Scotland alike. Having performed the music of Scotland for over two decades, we have collected a wealth of material from its folk tradition.
This album is dedicated to the people of Scotland and to Scots the world over who carry on the traditions of their homeland.
