Our writing has been called quirky, wacky and off-the-wall, droll, complex and pleasantly disturbing. We have written songs that feature painting the living room, defrosting the refrigerator, getting old, as well as love in an age of anxiety. Our humor is always clean, and we do want to make you laugh, especially if it is because you have seen something in a way you never have before.

We've been influenced by a diverse group of writers: from Will Rogers and Dorothy Parker, to Burns & Allen, Woody Guthrie, Gilbert & Sullivan and J.S. Bach.

We hope that our combination of wordplay and folk-y cabaret music gives you something to laugh about and to think about, hopefully both at the same time!
