What We Don't Know
Jeff Titus, owner of the Carlson 24-string Harp Sympitar, plays 6 string acoustic here. This heartfelt recording was created specifically by Jeff to include one of his all-time favorite musicians (and friends) MIchael Manring on bass. While the original version was written as a solo acoustic guitar piece, Jeff worked with Michael in the studio to build a sound scape of ensemble accompanying parts for MIchael's haunting fretless bass, triggered by the signature Ebow technique and sound he so eloquently employs. You'll find elements in Manring's performance that are reflective of some of his earlier work with Michael Hedges throughout... and a solo that will lift your heart. This one is dedicated to any fans of Michael Hedges.
