Tease
After releasing 2009's "Thirsty," Cleveland-based rock n roller, Dan Miraldi, wandered down to Washington, DC and cut "Tease" a new EP. Although it's only three songs long, "Tease" covers a lot of ground. It roars opens with "The Holy Roller Stone Revival" a garage rock anthem commenting on current conflicting American values. Following this is the Americana-influenced "Lucinda," a lyrically mysterious ballad accented with haunting Brian Wilson-esque harmonies. The EP closes in full-on rock n roll mode with "Tease," a super-fun power-pop gem complete with Beatle-pop harmonies and retro-organ that recalls early Elvis Costello. "Tease" also features instrumental appearances by fellow Silver Liners member, Jay Nemeyer. For more information check out http://www.danmiraldi.com .
