His Inspirational Servants (HIS) was founded in 1991 by Daniel McElroy as a male ensemble. However, in October of 1992 Mr. McElroy’s vision broadened to include choral gospel music. He began to write intricate harmonies for both male and female voices. Mr. McElroy’s talents are so extensive that he serves as a writer, composer, soloist and musician for the group. HIS is
a diversified music ministry. One can enjoy gospel, jazz, pop, as well as R&B in this choir’s positive sound. The group enjoys the music they render, but the ultimate goal is to give the listener an uplifting message about love, peace and joy.

HIS has been blessed to participate in The Victory in Praise Workshop with Rev. John P. Kee;
they have opened for Kirk Franklin and the Family, Albertina Walker, Dorothy Norwood, Celine Dion and Doc McKenzie, just to name a few. The group has received numerous awards
