The 2nd part of Wake contains dark, heavy tracks that flow together like a musical collage and lyrically mock the impending "end of life as we know it." The album features some of Hot Ham & Cheese's finest work to date and includes an extensive list of guests such as Dave Brooks (CBC, Slammin' Gladys); Allan Marcus (Strictly 7 Guitars, Drake Equation); Dennis Baker (SMF, Drug Fux); Chad Jenson (BattleCat, Muh Fuggah Band); and Lyle Quimby (Maiden Voyage). The chilling artwork by Joseph Paul Schwind, Jr. rounds out the release by capturing the true essence of the album in visual form.
