Written and recorded in 1978 by a 17-year old struggling singer/songwriter in Encinitas, CA who, at the time, played local coffee houses in a male/female duo called "Myron & Jill." The song was written for Jill at a time when he was conflicted between his love for her and his deep yearning to discover his own identity on a journey alone.
