Music has an uncanny way of transforming sorrow into sweet sound. Charley was inspired to write his first song after the death of his father. That experience led to the creation of hundreds of other songs, thirteen of which are presented in this recording. Charley and Amy’s music is enriched by their experience in related design fields: Charley’s in architecture and painting, and Amy’s in furniture design. (she made the chairs on the album cover) They live together with their two dogs in rural Berks County, PA, where they divide their time between the visual and musical worlds.
