A spiritual journey. Images abound . . . lots of pain, lots of joy, lots of God. It's also a musical journey, elements of Trance, House, Electro, Pop, Rock, Ambient. I like to think of it as basically melody, melody that you can get your teeth into!
I once saw an incredible image of the space shuttle against the Sun - highly filtered of course, but it was so so tiny you could barely see it.
In this record I was trying to get some kind of similar perspective with life as a human being, - tiny, temporary, the universe would hardly notice you?
It's not intended to be depressing, just a thought, it kind of explains the journey of this record. There is nothing so beautiful to me as a star in the sky. It's so beautiful, yet if you got up close it would be so terrifying, and so big . . . you might be swallowed up !
