César de Diego is a Spanish musician settled in Luxembourg, Europe's most cosmopolitan city. He pursued formal piano and harmony studies in Spain. During his youth, he played in several local bands, making music from symphonic rock to funky pop. He finally decided to continue his career as a solo composer and to not be influenced by any commercial musical trend. His new CD represents the first lone venture
of a composer - "The Shadow of Myself".

The CD includes a 17-page insert in English and Spanish.

"We independent composers are victims of a lack of resources and support, but we have a huge advantage: We are free souls. This means that we can compose whatever we feel like, whenever we feel like, in the way we feel like. Our work is not made to order and is not bound by any contract other than our own need to express ourselves through music. That's why our work is always sincere - we don't need to disconnect our feelings during creative moments. In fact, when I tried, I couldn't do it."
