Recorded in May 2006, this new release showcases the continuing development of one of New York City’s most original jazz piano trios. These guys swing with a natural authority, but their influences display a comfortable diversity. In their insightful, melodic original compositions, Paster, Ryan and Hall incorporate R&B, funk and Latin grooves fluently.
