Tim Eggebraaten and Jimmi Langemo met in 1988 while attending Minnesota State University – Moorhead. As their friendship grew, they dubbed themselves “The Hippie and the Homecoming King” (guess which one is which?).

They reconnected in 2005 at a neighborhood music bash in Detroit Lakes, MN when Tim asked Jimmi to join him and other musicians for a great night of music that lasted deep into the evening.

Jimmi invited Tim to visit Blue Wren Studio in Minneapolis in 2008. They sat in the studio and recorded eleven songs. They didn’t rehears but just picked the song, set the levels, and hit record. In most cases they hadn’t played the songs together and for “Trying To Get To You” neither had ever played the song.
