Musically, Josh and Tasha Via are best identified as acoustic rock loyalists focusing on vocal clarity, solid rhythmic instrumentation, distinctly unique violin leads and swells, and hook-based chord patterns for easy sing-a-long-ability. Lyrically, the couple strives toward intimacy in writing, putting out songs reflective of their own personal Bible study, life experiences, and key biblical themes and concepts.

After 6 years of worship leading and playing in rock and roll bands, Josh finally met the woman who would later become his better half and help to solidify his groping in the dark for the right sound. Classically trained in the Suzuki method of violin, Tasha discovered poor Josh trying to make it as a rhythm guitarist in the mountains of Virginia and showed him how a real acoustic instrument should sound.
