These works were composed by Lewis Flinn between January and March 2009, as a response to this momentous time when it felt like an endless roll down a long, dark mountain. The stock market was plunging, jobs were vanishing, and “crisis”, “worst ever”, “never before in our lifetime” echoed in the air from near constant repetition.
