Ahn Trio - Blue

So much comes out of the blue, and this album is no different. It was conceived soon after Lucia’s son Blue was, and we decided he should have stories of those who love him, blueprints of lives made through music, music of composers and players, music of his mother and his aunts. There is a time of day called the blue hour, a time that calls us toward the infinite even as it urges us to gather. Now that Blue is four, it’s time to give him this gift, and we hope the music reminds him of how big this blue world is, and how lovely to circle in it with those we love.
