Before becoming his own frontman, Tianci initially wrote and produced music for the LA scene, Taiwan dramas and Joel Tan (Gentlebones). Tianci is an American-Chinese singer-songwriter. Owing to his unique past and cultural background, his music has both Eastern and Western influences, acting as a bridge between both the East and the West. During his songwriting process, Tianci does so by taking deep inspiration from western music production, and overlaying it with strong eastern melodies. Guided by real-life experiences, Tianci's intimate and honest approach to song-writing creates a deeper and more meaningful connection with his audiences, which is what distinguishes him as an artiste.
