During a hiatus in LadyAntebellum's career, HillaryScott recorded aninspirational album called Love Remains.This 2016 album was creditedto Hillary Scott &The Scott Family, a tip of the hat to the extended kinsupporting her on this album. Scott started singing with her family as achild, being the daughter of country vocalist Linda Davis and LangScott. Hillary made her first professional appearance as part of aholiday concert held by her mother. During high school and college,she continued to perform, eventuallyforming LadyAntebellum withCharles Kelleyand Dave Haywood in 2006.Between 2008 and 2014,the trio released five albums, and then in 2016, Scott brought herparents and sister Rylee into the studio to record the modern-daygospel album Love Remains, which appeared in July of 2016, debutingat number one on Billboard's Christian Albums chart and number twoon their Top Country Albums chart.
