A few weeks ago, I was asked to come along to a gig in Islington to watch a new & upcoming talent called Moko. I thought she was soooo good! She worked the crowd and I realised her performance skills were top notch. It’s not easy performing with such crazy energy, both singing & dancing all at once and being able to keep that up throughout a whole set with such a strong voice. She performed a good collection of tracks to introduce new listeners to her sound and I felt like Moko was the type of artist you’d hear at festivals as well as shows - and on that note, she had been booked for this year’s Glastonbury (BBC intro stage), Lovebox, Simple Things and Boiler Room (with her idol Neneh Cherry) which is only the beginning of a bright future for the Goldsmith’s graduate.
