The Yellow Moon Band sound something like the audio equivalent of Spinal Tap and A Mighty Wind combined - like folk music players doing their renditions of classic hair metal riffs, without vocals. It's an odd combination, but since I like folk music and hair metal it's one that makes me smile from ear to ear. The sort of record that on first play makes you think - no, this would never happen, it's a far cry from the trendy rubbish that filters through on 7" week after week, and in a better world this would be considered pop music. One you'll want to buy for slotting into some kind of hard rock set or another, having all the trainspotters queuing up to see what it is you've dug from the vaults and as usual it's very very limited\r
