For Say What? 165 we welcome UK DJ and Producer KLINES, otherwise known as Paddy Kellaway, one of the new school producers that has been rapidly improving and developing his signature sound with tracks on Spektre’s Respekt, Steve Mulder’s Orange Recordings and Balthazar & Jackrock’s Renesanz. With support, plays & charts from some of the biggest hitters in the industry he is certainly cementing his name in the techno scene. After receiving his impressive list of freshly baked demos we've selected and signed a full 4-track EP from him and we couldn't be more ecstatic!

We start with 'Distant Movement' - a deep sub-driven dancefloor monster sounding nasty but rumbling hot and dark. A subtle vocal and horn-like synths throughout the track lift the track up into the stratosphere and show that we are in for a treat delivered with a bang

'Fire & Powder' is the second track on the release and is a mixture of cosmic Techno vibes with KLINES' typcial raw and deep edgy beats. Vocal snippets and a catchy riff that transfers you into a hypnotic state are the elements that keep pushing forward, tell the story and create an ambience that will touch hearts of many listeners!

The third track on the release is 'Oblique' - a straight forward composition with a no-nonsense approach, essential raw beats, thrilling synth work and a wink to the 'harder' genres is the essence here, enough to whittness the whole spectrum of his vast universe

We finish up the release with 'Insomnia' presented in the form of a high-octane roller with old-school inspired stabs and KLINES' recognisable bass-laden drums - an extra-terrestrial electronic madness and a perfect contender to sum up this fierce debut EP as a part of Say What? family
