Against The Grain are pleased to announce the exclusive signing of super sharp breaks producers, Deekline & Wizard. Not an unrealistic task considering Wizard has written and engineered for the Chemical Brothers, MIA, Roll Deep and Lady Sovereign to name but a few and Deekline has previously enjoyed a top ten hit with the garage-breaks anthem 'Don't Smoke The Reefa'. All of this, coupled with Against The Grain's successful track record with the Freestylers and Krafty Kuts ensures that this project will go off with a boom blast! 'Dancehall Thrilla' is the first single taken from Deekline & Wizard's new album and is an insight into the lengths to which these guys are prepared to go in order to establish a unique sound. With orchestra's recorded in Eastern Europe and vocals from no less than three of London's hottest talents, (Navigator of Freestylers fame, Yolanda of Bugz In The Attic success and the hot new show stopper Hadouken), we are are starting to build a picture of a very special project indeed. This time we have Top Cat laying down vocals over a thumping bassline-house smasher, which rounds off this incredibly strong first release.
