The title of this piece is descriptive enough to allow you to draw your own conclusions. At the risk of seeming flighty and over artistic, I will describe how this piece came to be. I thought I had invented the name but then soon realized that surely there must have been a real Chief Thunder Cloud somewhere in history, aside from the character name in the old TV show, “The Lone Ranger”, which I also discovered after the fact. One night I was reading about a form that seems to be very prevalent in many hit songs and other things in our world. Two important elements of its success are familiarity and repetition.
