Shoot for the Moon (feat. The Madison Letter)
February 22, 2016 – Singapore-based EDM producers Rave Republic are slated to release their brand new single ‘Shoot For The Moon’, featuring vocals from The Madison Letter, this Friday, February 26.
Rave Republic are a Singapore-based DJ duo who have played at major events, including at the main stage of Ultra Singapore and It’s the Ship, alongside electronic music producers such as Afrojack, Avicii and Dash Berlin.
The Madison Letter, based in the United States, recently charted highly on the Spotify Singapore Viral 50 with their cover of Charli XCX’s ‘Boom Clap’.
Says Rave Republic of their inspiration behind their song-writing process: “We wanted to write an anthem; something very positive, uplifting and energetic that people can easily sing along to. Zedd’s ‘Beautiful Now’ was a big inspiration in the creation of this song.”
‘Shoot For The Moon’ is the dynamic duo’s official follow-up to their major label debut ‘Far Away’, which topped the iTunes Electronic Music chart (#23 overall) at No. 1 upon release.
Since the release of ‘Far Away’ in December, Rave Republic have been hard at work, teaming up with The Madison Letter to write the lyrics and record the vocals for this new single.
Rave Republic will be officially launching ‘Shoot For The Moon’ at Zouk Singapore on February 27. They will also be promoting this single internationally, with a forthcoming tour of Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and Indonesia in the works.
