All Things In Time
Growing up during the civil rights movement was a time of challenge. My daddy would tell me that one day things would be different when it came to equality in America. He said, all times in time son, all things in time. Thing will get better for all people, regardless of race or color or creed. He said that he believed that God would bring about a change. May daddy talked about a man who was speaking out about what was happening and he would sing a song, We Shall Overcome. What a great voice my daddy had. He said to ask mama who that preacher was he thought might be coming to town in Jacksonville, Florida and she said I think his name is Reverend King. All things in Time help me Jesus to renew my mind, my daddy kept saying that, this song is dedicated to as a tribute to those who lived, died and believe and continue to keep Dr. King’s Dream Alive.
