When no one looked, on the narrow side street of a forgotten town, the glance was bestowed upon him, the one that made him see her everywhere. Nothing but the eyes could he see, the eyes that occupied his every waking moment and came crashing at night. They had already met before, he knew, somewhere in a different street, different town, different country.
