From folk to reggae, funky, pop, and jazz. It is amazing to see the ability of Standing Egg to cover all different genres. But what shines the most is the addictive melody which catches everyone’s taste.
The first track, "today is..", is articulating the restless heart of someone who is on his way to profess his love through the simple and cute melody and lyrics. The song is European Jazz Folk styled, which will lead you to the morning with clear sky after the rain.
Second track, "La la la"is the title of the album. This lovely song will present you the feeling of coziness and refreshment from the April’s gentle breeze and affectionate sunlight.
The song flows from heart-beating-like Reggae rhythm to the addictive refrain which will make you hum spontaneously after you listen. This will remind you of Jamiroquai, Maroon 5, and Jason Marz altogether.
The last track, "Kiss" is Bossa nova music. This song expresses the sweetness of moment right before the first kiss through combining the lyrics and romantic melody sophisticatedly.
