Ed Ed and Petja Virikko team up to bring us our 9th release on Chocolat Records, label head Renato joins to bring his interpretation on the feature track.

We start off with the title of the EP "Papillion", and just as the vocals suggest, this one definitely entices a smile. Moving and stern the kick drums set the tone for this mover. Panning, perc synths carry throughout, accompanied by tight percussion movements including an uplifting ride. A warm holding lead is the hook of "Papillion", a certain combination of driving joy.

Following "Papillion", "Zabricot" lines up 2nd in the EP. Starting with a filtered kick drum, the bass line immediately shines. Before long the kick drum reveals from hiding and "Zabricot" starts to take shape. Synth stabs make their appearance, followed by a reminiscent revolving arp that is the lead of the subject. Driving percussion, playful hats, grooving shakers come together for a thumper.
