So many people say to be that my songs mirror a part of their lives, and they find themselves singing along easily. They also love taking it on a road trip. I got the song writing part of my life started a bit later in life when I was given a day in a recording studio by my work mates. Recorded my first song and that started a flood of new song ideas and a passion for song writing and recording. Managed to fit it all in along with running my own business and taking care of my family. Which is where a lot of the themes come from. The album is really about reaching a stage in life where you get to a crossroads and make some calls as to what is important and what you really want to do. On the way to the crossroads, it's also likely that a few bumps, twists and turns will have appeared in relationships, work, and family. These themes also come through and, while there's a feeling that the decision made at the crossroads will result in a change of direction, there's also a feeling that it won't be at the expense o
