Street King, Vol. 1 (DJ Mix)
One of Italy's leading DJ/producers Alex Kenji comes forth with his debut 16-tune profoundly pumpy compilation full of deep delectable dubs and righteous House rhythms on King Street's wicked sister imprint, Street King. Having included a few remixes of his own such as Lou Gorbea & Chris Perez feat Miss Patty's "R U Feeling Me" (Alex Kenji Main) being released as a single concurrently with this comp, DJ Roland Clark’s "Brown James" (Alex Kenji Vocal Dub) and David Harness' "Shake" (Alex Kenji Main Mix), he also throws in a few brand new tracks, "Street Soul" & "Mbali" by South African artist, Lips, P'Taah's "Everything Is Naturally Free" (Supernova Dub) and a couple of unreleased tracks like the smashingly cool "The Rough" by Japanese producer Tomoki Tamura (of Tomoki & Nono). Alex's uncanny ability to meld of styles and eras are exactly why he was chosen to do this comp. In the midst of getting current and borderline proggy, he crosses the boundary by throwing a couple of classics & neo-classics like Mood II
