For the electric numbers, he's supported by Little Charlie & the Nightcats, who give Hammond a surprisingly gritty and flexible support. But the heart of the album is in the acoustic cuts, where he proves that he has absorbed the Delta blues completely. These are among his finest acoustic work, and they're what makes Trouble No More such an impressive effort.
