Italian rising star Alexander Fog of Techno Mafia Records drops his first bomb for ODA Digital "Bipolar EP". He explores two themes; sparce, clean techno as pure electronica and tracky, clubbier techno. Fog is one of a growing number of producers who comfortably masters techno and tech house.

"Bipolar" is stripped down techno, austere and right to the point. Very pleasing to the ear without a wasted note and well-conceived. "Gravity Glue" strikes me as avant-funk, with echoes of Detroit and Chicago. Destined to rock floors across the globe with its chunky groove. "Brain Trainer" is a kinetic, psycho technotribal ride with hypnotizing rhythms, a terrific buildup and mesmerizing vocals. True techno fans will find something they love in every track.
