A Bit Different
Dave the Drummer gets on the case in the studio and comes to you armed with a bunch of new tracks aimed directly at the discerning techno dance floor. For those of you already in the know, you will realize the sound of Hydraulix has shifted in keeping with Dave's more stripped back techno style of late. Recent releases have included the talents of some great European producers and collaborations with friends, but now it's very much time for Dave to take hold of the label and shape it into the sound that it is to adopt to stay at the cutting edge of the techno scene.
Here we have 7 full tracks, 8 if you count the ambient intro, which show the versatility of Dave the Drummer's music. The tracks do not vary in quality, only in pace and style, from the opening spacey grooves of Blagger, Looking Back & Hydrogen, to the hard, reverberated, warehouse style of Next Level, we even step into electro territory for HD crash, before slipping into something more comfortable for See My Soul and riding it out on the bassline of Good Session.
All in all it's been a very productive time and there's definitely more where that came from. Expect more high quality releases from Hydraulix and remixes from Dave the Drummer.
