'Of Oblivion Bubbles' effervesces through its own lush ecologies, contrasting crystal-sharp original drum programming against wide atmospheric synths and lead melodies that evoke a muezzin summoning us back to the Detroit techno of the late 1980's. A propulsive album, each song offers short glimpses of astonishingly well-crafted moods and universes and then moves on, with a few ambient reprise tracks providing a cool 'look over your shoulder' at previous songs.
