Next up on the Aerotek flight, we have a rather special release upon us, and maybe that's because of the vibe that this one particularly brings. As we have always said, time and time again, is that Aerotek is always on the strive to bring something unique to the table, to differentiate ourselves from the typical electronic music that one would typically hear, and this one proves to be any different. This release has all the characteristics one would find in the world of techno music, but this one we feel has style and grace. With that being said, we would like to welcome in to the Aerotek family, Argentinian native, and currently based out of Dallas, Texas, he goes by the name of Christian Zanni, and his Aerotek debut EP titled 'Merckle'.

This fabulous 4 track EP brings the variation that we thirst for, we feel that Christian provides us something that comes from the heart, and we feel it being translated in his beats. When initially listening to 'Merckle', you already know you you're in for something special, with its ambient intro. Well it doesn't take long for this track to develop into the grit, that we have always loved from our artists, Christian does a phenomenal job in keeping that characteristic alive. Giving it its own unique feel, 'Merckle' does have that perfect subtle groove of its organic elements, but with the drive that it gives off, one can't help but be infatuated with the deep grit 'Merckle' has, truly an awesome piece from Christian. Well this release wouldn't be complete, without adding some fuel to the fire, and bringing in one of our favorite Aerotek artists, Eddie Krystal on the remix duties. Eddie absolutely crushes it, as he normally does, with his signature sound and grit, something that Eddie does superbly well.

The rest of the EP speaks for itself, 'Mugged' which is the label boss's favorite track of the release, is a track that is perfectly paired with 'Merckle', by maintaining the groove and grit alive, but also with the addition of some amazing ambiance, special fx, 'Mugged' takes the cake of being one of the most unique tracks we have heard in a while, and we are absolutely in love with it! On the remix duties for 'Mugged', we have the label boss of the highly successful label out of the bay area, Fierce Animal's own Bruce Mac Vaughn! Mac Vaughn simply brings it with his remix, immediately defining its place in the release. His grungy dark groove, is infectious and synonymous with the entirety of the release, and is a perfect pair to cap off the release with some amazing quality, uniqueness and style that Aerotek is proud to bring to you.
