Aphasic Taciturn starts of in a light and airy place, drifting through nicely before a shadow of discord graces us and hints at a hidden sadness.
I'm Sorry Jade I Was Wrong is a heartfelt vocal and abstract piece. layered not just with distant pianos but the distance of emotion too. You can truly feel the influence of inner emotive processes, and it's very heartfelt indeed, with distant piano lines, set against a haunting and simple vocal.
Adrift begins with the sounds of depth and a dark night upon the see of feelings. The almost clang of rope against mast turns into a melodic movement that twist and turn into dissonant and backwards tones grasping at the waves of emotion as they drift past.
Finalizing the EP is Water. More upbeat in it's feel yet still full of the depth and darkness of the rest of the EP. there's more discordant melodics and a percussive movement that drives us deeper and deeper into the mood reflected within.
