Coppola is the solo project of Matias Kuoppala. Matias comes from a small town called Vörå, near Vasa in Finland, but is now living in Sandnes, Norway. The single "Keep you warm/ Familytree" was recorded at Malakta in Finland in June 2012. It was produced by Petter Näse, Matias Kuoppala and Stefan Backas. The strings were arranged by Eero Paalanen. The musicians involved were Matias Kuoppala (vocals and acoustic guitar), Petter Näse (electric guitar), Mikko Saari (organ), Eero Paalanen (bass), Daniel Hjerppe (drums) and a string quartet. The songs were recorded and mixed by Stefan Backas and mastered by Gustav Lindelöw. The artwork was made by Frank A. Unger.
