"Laughter in Heaven"
As Jt was finishing mixing the last song for my CD, he looked over at me and said, " This has really been a labor of love." Some of the songs on the CD were recorded by Jt and me over 30 years ago. Yet, as I began thinking about the songs on the CD, I realized that it is indeed a labor of love because most of my songs are about love... of family, friends and the environment.
"Laughter in Heaven" is dedicated to my very good friend, Kent Stutler, who died in September 2003. I know that heaven has not been the same since he arrived.
"Tell Me Again" was written to my wife, Cathy. The great news is that we are still
saying those words to each other after all these years.
After watching a TV show years ago about what men were doing to change the course of the Colorado River, I wrote " Where Did The Colorado Go?" I feel the song still applies today. As the song says,"I don't know who's to blame, I think you and me."
