Definition is the work of Steven James and Dean Smith. Two young talented people who have a common love for music. All the music on their C.D is written and performed by them.
Dean and Steven have known each other since they were children. They grew up listening to music and started playing around with instruments at an early age. After a few years they started a band then after a few changes ended up in a band called ‘Maulk’. They went on to play sell-out gigs in Covent garden and the local pavilion they also played in front of thousands on the big stage at a local festival. They also have supported bands such as ‘Bad Manners’ and Spunge and have been featured in local press and had songs played on the local radio. They had interest from record labels and all was well. Then the inevitable split came. After a while the two of them realised that instead of worrying about what might have been they would put there talents together and do there own thing which is where ‘Definition’ came from.
