Pipe wrote their first song before they even met. Ah, the wonders of the internet and computer recording software. Brought together by fate, kept together by a burning passion to spit out all the music bouncing around inside their heads. They throw all their influences into the pot, a little bit of Pantera here, a dash of Alice In Chains, some Soundgarden and maybe a pinch of Godsmack or old school Led Zeppelin. Stir vigorously, sweat over it, maybe even bleed a little and voila...pipe music. Pipe is what Metal is supposed to be. Dark, heavy, loud, sinister, pounding drums, ripping guitar and bass, tough vocals...none of that "look how high I can sing" crap. No electronic beeps and whizzing sounds.
