Morningday started as a small acoustic album before I got together with some friends who kindly added drums, piano and violin. Recorded over a year on the most modest of budgets its a labour of love. The albums greatest influence is probably my three year old son Lewis who named the album. The songs tell stories of life and the characters in my small home town of Falkirk; a commuter community nestled in the heart of Scotland. Kevin Byrne plays drums and Jemma Burt added both the piano and violin.
