Introducing Clayton & Ernie -- a duo based in Portland, Oregon, blending voices in original harmonies, backed with guitar and harmonica. Performing together since 2009, they have an eclectic repertoire of songs from the folk, pop, country, and jazz traditions, and original compositions by Ernie.

Clayton Morgareidge, originally from California, was a philosophy professor for most of four decades before retiring in 2002. Music has always been a part of his life studying the violin and singing in choral groups. He sings bass and plays harmonica with Clayton & Ernie.

Ernie Tong hails from upstate New York where he immersed himself in music at an early age. A Portland resident since 1979, he sings baritone and plays guitar with Clayton & Ernie.
