Rock in the 90's changed a lot about the genre. Less was more and guitar solos were taboo. Bad Influence found a lot to like about the era but really enjoyed the musicianship and show value of rock in the 70's and 80's. On "The Ride" Bad Influence have managed to marry the two schools of thought.

Bad Influence’s original material is modern rock with one foot firmly in the 70’s and 80’s hard rock vein. They are not afraid of guitar solos and their "Heavy With Hooks" style lends well to modern rock radio. Bad Influence recently recorded at Studio 7 in Tumalo Oregon. Their CD “The Ride” is available now and in July 2006 their song “Never” appeared on an independent compilation CD called “Depths Of Confessions: Vol 1” from Rednight Records.
