Sweet Tea, formed in the summer of 2009, draws musical influence from genres spanning over Rock, Psychedelic, Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Latin. What separates Sweet Tea from most groups is the amount of musicianship found within the band. Every member plays at least three instruments, which range from Traditional Orchestral Sections to your standard Rock n’ Roll set-ups. Members of Sweet Tea will often switch instruments several times during a set, which feature an array of original and cover material. This unpredictable nature -- combined with confident, young adult charm -- fuels the band’s essential message: Playing music for the fun of it.
