This album, recorded in June, 2015, is a session of solo piano pieces that were completely improvised. Without any practice beforehand, Ian Green performed pieces of various styles. The recording engineer cued Ian to begin playing, the rest is history. In the eclectic style enclosed within each piece offers glimpses of musical influences of pianists such as Keith Jarrett or Chick Corea. Each piece offers it's own unique voice and soundscape. All of the pieces were were recorded in one take without any editing (except for the final mixing and mastering).

The final four pieces on this album (Time Gone By, The Ragged Waltz, Horizons, and Single Strands) are piece of original music that Ian composed between 2013-2014. These pieces can be performed as stand-alone selections or as a set of pieces. The set of pieces is entitled Suite for Piano, Opus 2.
