This EP brings together four of Amplitude Problem's singles from various retro-synth compilation releases. Three of them are originals influenced by Miami Vice, John Carpenter movies and the original Tron. The fourth song is a cover of "Into the Night" from the Twin Peaks soundtrack, truly transformed into Amplitude Problem style. Neon Vice commented: "... absolutely fantastic instrumental take on 'Into the Night', which was a definite highlight of 'The Next Peak: Volume I'."
