JahBless is an artist that was introduced to music at an early age. At the age of 7 he began studying the saxophone under the direction of Elliot " Cool Breeze" Dottin,Whom which Jah Bless began music lessons. At the age of 9 he began sitting in with his father's band the generation Gap where he played Jazz, Salsa, and Calypso music. Upon reaching middle school he started exploring other instuments such as trombone, clarinet, flute, and drums. During his middle school and high school carreer he recieived numerous superior awards from solo and ensamble festivals, and was selected to be in the all county and all state bands in the areas of symphonic and jazz. .After completing high school he continued to nurture his musical talent at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee Florida. Where he attended on a musical scholarship and played with the infamous Marching 100. After his tenure with the marching 100. JahBless then began perfecting his musical gift with the Ital Stew band.
