Eddy grew up in Brunswick, Georgia and Ava grew up near Greenville, South Carolina.

They met and married in Nashville, Tennessee in 1988. They were members of a 10-piece horn band for many years called "Nobody's Business" and a smaller version of the same band called, "This Is it". They enjoyed playing in Nashville on Printer's Alley, 2nd Ave and many other locations throughout the Southeast.

In 1998 they recorded, "You Can't Get There From Here" an adult contemporary CD, and enjoy a small success with this original music. It is available at their on-line store: www.swiftrode.com.

In August of 2006, they released their first Christian CD along with a DVD and Cookbook.

They have toured southern Wisconsin, playing a music festival and several churches and a CD release party for Ronnie Peterson. They had a wonderful time and plan to return soon for the "Thank You God Festival" at the Harris Farm in Argyle, WI.
